Testing initial setup configuration with Medusa Watt Meter
Today I had a chance to wire in the Medusa Watt meter so that I have some idea of what a baseline reading of my system is in the Impact. It is rather cool (2dgrees C)outside and I am waiting on a few last part before test flights can begin. Here is the setup as it stands today.
- Motor: Pettenberg Xtra 25-13 motor
- Prop: APC 18x12 e
- Batteries: 2 ThunderPower TP6000-5S3P 6000 mAh , Prolite packs
- Jetti Hacker Master 90 controller
Below are 5 .Jpg images. This is the output result of the Medusa Watt meter. The software that comes with it does this automatically. Click on the images to get a larger version of the same

Today, April 6 it was 15 degrees C in Kingston. I just got my new 19x12e APC props and I felt like doing a longer Medusa testing session. After my testing I touched the batteries, controller and motor. The motor was pretty warm but batteries and controller were cool. Here are my results below. As well, just an indea of what the testing setup looked like outside in the backyard.
Testing results. All same equipment as stated above, just using APC 19x12 prop.
