| This is the Double Eagle sport plane that was stretched and redesigned by my uncle with pattern in mind. It was one of my first competition planes and didn't last too long. In fact, it went down into the woods after the tail failed and snapped off at the beginning of my first flight in a competition in Sarnia Ontario a bunch of years ago. Not sure when. It was over powered by a YS 60 |
| This plane is a modification of the Checkmate designed I think by Steve Helms. My uncle stretched it a bit, put a larger tail on it, made it lighter, made some cool wing fillets and bunch of other things. It never competed with me and was powered by a YS 61 long stroke (That engine always sounded like it was about to explode) |

| The Legend 1. We bought this gem of a plane straight from Greg Marsden, who designed and built it himself. What a spectacular flying plane. No mixing required, next to no trimming. It also ran with the famous YS 60 |
| Quickly we graduated to the Legend 2. We had 2 identical planes built by Greg Marsden. Just as awesome as the Legend 1, just a bit bigger and it had more of a presence in the sky however lacked the power I was used to. |
| After the Legend 2 we went to the Legend 3 which was my favorite Legend of all. Unfortunately I don't have a picture at this time. This very model helped Team Canada and Greg win the Team competition at the Worlds in Australia 1991 |
| The Legend 4c was our introduction to the rattle and shake of the YS120. That poor plane shook to hell, but stayed together for a few competitions . We even tryed and failed with the YS 90 4 stroke. I remember a brutally embarrassing competition and no power with that beast. |
| Around the same time we got a Summit 4 which was built for us by Bob Noll, That was a beauty of a plane but also shook like hell with the YS 120 |
| We switched back to balsa bodies with the Nova family. I had 2 beautiful Nova's that I flew in 2 different World Championships. The Nova and the Nova 2 meter. These models flew with three different engines. YS 140, YS 140FZ, and YS140L |
| With the major changes in program schedules just after the worlds in 2001 and the need for a model with a better snap I moved to a wide body. I went with an unknown called the Vector. I flew this one in the Worlds in Ireland. Powered by YS140L |

| 2004 and the advent of the "electric age" Hey I was the first Canadian to fly a full sized electric F3A pattern plane in competiton. Finished second in the Canadian Nats and 2nd at teh Team trials. It's can't fly that bad. Here we see again the Focus 2 |
